The Clog
...in the drain of life.
The Master Blaster
Let me tell you a story. A true story. I'm talking about the end of the world as we know it.
With limericks.
The Situation: Well, it's complicated
There was a programmer named Clyde
who when shopping with his young bride
Clyde, I can't select
which thing is correct.
Why can't you decide he replied
And she said.
Many options to consider
When purchasing chopped liver
What brands they endorse
By rock stars of course
And bonuses they deliver
The Fix
So into his office he went
and there for many hours he spent
for his bride LaVerne
to help her discern
a new App machine he'd invent
Quality Time
Astonished it actually worked
Birds of a Feather:
When in the world you are now scored.
All your points are tallied and stored.
Are you in alignment,
with your assignment?
For your sake better get on board.
You know what, is about to hit the fan
But not all choices AR directed
outside influence detected
Good and Evil exist
a few signals missed
Remain calm cool and collected.
Attempts at contact came from all
some looking for peace some to brawl
As you might have guessed
Many joined the quest
Say man, shouldn't we call Saul.
And so it begins
Big crowd watching Superbowl Sunday.
Some were there to watch the game play.
At Joe's Bar and Grill
on up over the hill.
But most were there for the buffet.
The night was going pretty well
until the spirits brought that smell.
Not all were surprised
some were terrified,
When we knew the smell came from hell.
The Beginning
It was over before it started.
Defeated by the good hearted.
Michael presided
souls were divided
some were saved while others departed
...and in a flash St. Michael came, tossing demons into the flame
...with a booming pop, it came to a stop
Time to Jump and Shout and let it all hang out
I fell in pain, for I was slain
I whispered a prayer, then saw a stair
Then I saw Eddy, was there already
At last the long race has ended.
Did I do as God intended?
Waiting by the gate,
for me my best mate.
Tail wagging as we ascended.
...into an uncomplicated world, for now, maybe
I see you!
